Liebe Studierende,
Willkommen zurück an der Uni! Wir hoffen, ihr seid gut ins neue Semester gestartet und freuen uns dieses Semester wieder Events vor Ort zu gestalten. Die genaueren Informationen zu den Events findet ihr in der FPU-Agenda weiter unten und wir sind gespannt darauf, viele von euch wiederzusehen.
Auch das FPU Zimmer ist wieder mehr am Präsenzbetrieb angepasst, denn es ist uns wichtig, dass ihr den Kühlschrank, die Kaffeemaschine, die Mikrowelle und die Bibliothek weiterhin nutzen könnt. In den kommenden Wochen ermöglichen wir den Zugang zur Herdplatte und den Kochutensilien wieder. Wir bitten euch, die folgenden Richtlinien zu befolgen: Maskenpflicht im Zimmer, nur 3 Arbeitsplätze, nur Trinkutensilien sind zugänglich, Trinken ist erlaubt.
Wir bitten euch, persönliche Gegenstände und Kleider aus dem FPU Zimmer zu entfernen, ansonsten werden wir sie ins Fundbüro bringen oder entsorgen.

Die (bis jetzt) geplanten Events werden alle im Atrium stattfinden und deshalb mit Zertifikatspflicht durchgeführt. Am Erstsemester-Apéro und der Generalversammlung sind alle PhysikerInnen herzlich willkommen. Das Erstsemestrigen-Essen ist für das Kennenlernen zwischen den Erstis und ihren Gottis/Göttis gedacht.
3. McKinsey Case Competition
Hast du schon einmal an einer Case Competition teilgenommen?
Und dabei einer Non-Profit Organisation in Kambodscha geholfen, ein wichtiges Projekt auf die Beine zu stellen?
UND dabei erst noch 1’000 CHF gewonnen, sowie 500 CHF weitere, welche als Spende an das Non-Profit gehen?
Falls nicht, du aber Lust dazu hättest, dann bewirb dich für Solve It – eine Case Competition, bei der du im Team und durch McKinsey Consultants als Mentoren, einen echten Unterschied für das Projekt in Kambodscha machen kannst!

Falls du dem McKinsey Solve It Team noch persönlich Fragen zu Solve It stellen möchtest, dann wähl dich doch bei einer ihrer Virtual Info Sessions ein. Die finden jeweils am 29. Sept und am 30. Sept um 17.30 und 19.00 statt. Registrieren kannst du dich dafür unter obigem Link.

Dear students,
Welcome back to the university! We hope you had a good start into the new semester and we are looking forward to organizing events on site again this semester. You can find more detailed information about the events in the FPU-Agenda below and we are looking forward to seeing many of you again.
Also, the FPU room is back to more of an attendance mode, as it is important to us that you can still use the fridge, coffee machine, microwave, and library. In the coming weeks, we will allow access to the hotplate and cooking utensils again. We ask that you follow the guidelines: Mask requirement in the room, only 3 workstations, only drinking utensils are accessible, drinking is allowed.
We kindly ask you to remove personal items and clothing from the FPU room, otherwise we will take them to the lost and found or dispose of them.

The events planned (so far) will all take place in the Atrium and thus require a covid-certificate. At the semester aperitif and the general assembly all physicists are welcome. The freshmen dinner is intended for the freshmen and their Gottis/Göttis.
3. McKinsey Case Competition
Have you ever participated in a case competition?
And helped a non-profit organization in Cambodia to set up an important project?
AND won 1'000 CHF and 500 CHF more, which will be donated to the non-profit?
If not, but you would like to, then apply for Solve It - a case competition where you can make a real difference for the project in Cambodia as part of a team with McKinsey consultants as mentors!
